Georgia and Ukraine Agreed on Facilitation of Cooperation Development in Energy Efficiency Sector

A Mmemorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine. Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Davit Tvalabeishvili and Acting Head of the Agency, Kostiantyn Gura signed the Memorandum.

Within the Memorandum, the parties agreed to promote cooperation between the countries in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative types of fuel within their competence. The document also aims to support the business entities of the two countries in the development and implementation of the projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy, as well as in the organization of joint seminars, training courses and meetings on the relevant topics.

According to the Memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate to achieve the objectives set out in the document.
