Levan Davitashvili Awarded 11 Specialists of Construction Sector

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili presented honorary diplomas and medals to 11 representatives of the field of architecture and construction – “Honorable Architect of Georgia” and “Honorable Builder of Georgia”.

Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia annually awards those working in the field of architecture and construction, who have shown high professionalism and have proved themselves as high professionals in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction. This year, Union of Architects of Georgia, Apollo Kutateladze State Academy of Architecture, Georgian Technical University, the UN Economic and Social Council consultative organizations Ltd Hausart-Luksi and Ltd Strukturuli Mtlianobis Monitoringi submitted the candidates for the awards. The special commission of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia for awarding the titles of “Honored Builder of Georgia” and “Honored Architect of Georgia” evaluated the nominees. Following the decision of the commission,  Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia issued the relevant Ordinance on August 15, 2023.

For outstanding contribution to the development of the architecture and the urban planning of Georgia, high professionalism and productive work, the title of Honorable Architect of Georgia was awarded to:

  • Maia Mania;
  • Aleksandre Chkheidze;
  • Archil Kurdiani;
  • Nugzar Khvedeliani;
  • Merab Bolkvadze;
  • Davit Makharoblishvili;
  • Demur Eloshvili;
  • Nana Akhvlediani.

For outstanding contribution to the development of the construction sector in Georgia, high professionalism and productive work, the title of Honorable Builder of Georgia was awarded to:

  • Givi Gavardashvili;
  • Giorgi Bichiashvili;
  • Levan Klimashvili.
