Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili met with international investment consultants and location managers visiting Georgia.
The purpose of the visit of influential Canadian and British consultants to Georgia is to familiarize themselves with the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector of Georgia and study the investment potential of Georgia in this direction, in order to provide information to potential investors.
Foreign managers were visiting Georgia upon invitation and organization of the Enterprise Georgia Agency. Within the framework of the visit, they held meetings with state agencies as well as with local and foreign companies representing the BPO field.
According to Levan Davitashvili, Georgia is a very interesting destination for leading companies that need outsourcing of business processes.
“In order to present Georgia’s business climate even better, within programs of the Enterprise Georgia Agency, we started hiring managers of specific locations in the target markets. Our goal is to attract even more business to Georgia, to make more investments and bring in well-known companies. For this purpose, people with specific experience in different target markets talk to leading companies that need business process outsourcing and are looking for new locations. Georgia is a very interesting destination for them and I think this project will be successful. In addition, it is important for us to bring such companies to the country, which to some extent will contribute to raising the qualifications of the employees,” – Levan Davitashvili noted.
It should be noted that leading international companies such as Concentrix and Majorel have opened their offices in Georgia with the support of the Enterprise Georgia Agency.
