Guram Guramishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, discussed the possibilities of ferry traffic development between Georgian and Romanian ports on the Black Sea with Constantin-Gabriel Bunduc, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania. The meeting was held within the ministerial framework of the International Transport Forum.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of further intensification of maritime traffic between the two countries on the Black Sea, which will contribute not only to the development of trade and economic ties between Georgia and Romania, but will also be able to attract additional cargoes between Europe and Asia to the Middle Corridor passing through Georgia.

Guram Guramishvili introduced to his Romanian colleague the vision of the Georgian Government on increasing the capacity of the Middle Corridor, and also talked about the important transport and logistics projects that will contribute to this process. Special emphasis was placed on the Anaklia Deep Sea Port project and other priority directions. He also thanked the representatives of the Romanian delegation for increasing the quota of international car permits.
The parties agreed that intensive work will continue in the direction of the development of the transport issues of bilateral and regional significance between the two countries.
Within the framework of the Ministerial session, Guram Guramishvili also held meeting with the delegation of Mongolia, where the parties discussed the signing of an agreement on international road traffic between the two countries.
