"Georgia's 3rd position in the World Bank's Business Ready (B-READY) ranking is a significant international recognition and a strong message for local as well as international business community that Georgia has a favorable environment for doing business. I am sure that this recognition will encourage more investors to decide on bringing quality investments to Georgia," – the First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili assessed the success of Georgia in the new ranking by the World Bank.

In the World Bank's Business Ready (B-READY) ranking, Georgia is in the top three countries along with Singapore and Estonia. The World Bank evaluated 50 countries around the world, including Georgia, within the pilot rating of 2024. Levam Davitashvili noted that B-READY ranking is the alteration of the previous, Doing Business complex rating of the World Bank, where Georgia was ranked to the 7th position. Notably, in the B-READY ranking Georgia is ahead of Hong Kong and New Zealand, while in the last Doing Business rating it was following those countries.

"We, of course, will continue implementation of the policy aimed at improving the business environment and attract more foreign investment for the development of the country" – the First Vice Prime Minister added.
