“We discussed with the Chinese Ambassador the prospects of attracting Chinese investors interest towards the development of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port and the adjacent Free Industrial Zone,” – the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili said upon the completion of the meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia, JI Yanchi.

“We have highlighted the significance since the interest is expressed, the memorandums are signed and we believe they will be promptly implemented,” – the First Vice Prime Minister added.

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia, JI Yanchi confirmed that China welcomes the participation of the Chinese companies in the Anaklia Port project implementation.
