Mariam Kvrivishvili Introduced Poti Port Infrastructure and Free Industrial Zone to Uzbek Counterparts

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, accompanied Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ilkhom Makhkamov, the Minister of Transport, who are currently on a visit to Georgia, on a tour of the Poti port infrastructure. The visit included APM Terminals Poti, the new sea port of Pace Group and the Poti Free Industrial Zone (FIZ).

The Minister of Economy of Georgia introduced the upcoming projects to the members of the Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers and emphasized the full readiness of Georgian ports to support the development of the Middle Corridor.

Together with Laziz Kudratov and Ilkhom Makhkamov, Mariam Kvrivishvili also visited the Poti Free Industrial Zone, which ranks as a leader in the country in terms of business operations volume.
