Construction Policy Department Functions:

  • Development, implementation, coordination, management and monitoring of policy in the field of construction activities;
  • In coordination with relevant structural subdivisions, initiation, organization, analysis, implementation and monitoring of the execution of legislation, including technical regulations and standards, regulating the field of construction activities;
  • Participation, within the scope of its competence, in the implementation of the international, state and regional programs/projects in the field of construction activities;
  • Cooperation with the state agencies, agencies of the autonomous republics and the regional agencies, as well as municipal authorities; initiation, development, coordination and monitoring of the programs/projects in the construction sector and exercising other powers envisaged by the relevant legislation;
  • Ensuring the involvement of the public and business sectors in the process of elaborating the policy defining the field of construction activities;
  • Promotion of educational processes,  including the retraining of specialists, in the field of construction activities and participation in the regulation of the professional qualifications of the specialists in the field; 
  • Promoting the development and the implementation of new technologies and the production of construction materials in the field of construction activities in line with modern requirements;
  • Cooperation with international organizations in the construction sector, organization of relevant meetings, seminars and conferences, as well as implementation of the best practices and experiences.

  • Division for Construction Affairs;
  • Division for Legal Regulation of Construction Activities.
