Functions of the Road Safety Department:

• Coordinate among various government agencies and stakeholders for the planning and implementation of road safety measures. 
• Analyze road safety legislation and prepare relevant initiatives, including the mobilization of international and national resources. 
• Plan awareness-raising campaigns aimed at improving public understanding of road safety issues. 
• Conduct analytical activities related to road safety data, statistics, and performance indicators. 
• Define road safety policy and provide recommendations regarding necessary interventions. 
• Develop and monitor policy documents in the field of road safety. 
• Monitor road safety measures and assess their effectiveness and outcomes. 
• Conduct research activities and support capacity-building efforts for employees of institutions responsible for road safety.
