 Functions of the Strategic Development Department:

  • Develop/update and implement the methodology for the Ministry’s strategic planning process 
  • Ensure that the Ministry’s structural units and subordinate agencies have clear and measurable quantitative plans
  • Enhance the skills and capabilities of personnel within the Ministry's subordinate agencies in preparing qualitative and quantitative plans
  • Organize planning, plan review (challenge and validation), and plan quality assurance processes
  • Develop/implement methodologies for monitoring and evaluation system of plan execution
  • Monitor the implementation of plans quarterly and annually and prepare monitoring reports
  • Develop and implement a quality control methodology for the Ministry and its subordinate agencies
  • Manage the quality control process for activities and services within the Ministry and its subordinate agencies
  • Monitor document processing deadlines; process and analyze relevant data; prepare monitoring reports (identify deficiencies caused by the absence of human, technological, operational and monitoring systems)
  • Address systemic solutions for deficiencies and opportunities identified through quality control processes
  • Ensure the optimization of critical and priority business processes within the Ministry’s subordinate agencies
  • Support the development of priority services provided by the Ministry’s subordinate agencies
  • Foster a service-oriented culture and approach (“Service+”) among employees.
