Mariam Kvrivishvli Met with Representatives of Tbilisi School of Public Management

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili met with the representatives of the first flow of the Tbilisi School of Public Management and introduced them to the activities and future projects of the Ministry in the direction of development of tourism and civil aviation.

Giorgi Abashishvili, the Founder of the Business Insider Georgia and the Economic Forum, moderated the discussions. Jemal Inaishvili, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ltd Tbilisi Drai Porti also attended the meeting.

The Deputy Minister introduced the strategies and action plans for the development of the country's tourism and civil aviation sectors to the audience. Kvrivishvili spoke in details about the decisions taken by the Ministry to promote Georgia's tourism potential at new target markets and increase the country's awareness. Mariam Kvrivishvili also drew attention to the current and planned infrastructural projects, which will contribute to the development of tourism and aviation, as well as the economy of the country in general.

Mariam Kvrivishvili positively evaluated the activities planned within the certificate course of the Tbilisi School of Public Management and noted that meetings of this format are a good opportunity for course participants to learn more about the activities of various public agencies.
The Deputy Minister answered the questions of the students of the school. 20 representatives of various state agencies took part in the meeting as well.

The certificate course of the Tbilisi School of Public Management is organized by the Business Insider Georgia and the Economic Forum within the framework of cooperation with the state and private sectors. The project is implemented with the support of the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.

The purpose of the training course is to promote the professional development of civil servants and improve communication between the public and private sectors by sharing knowledge and experience.
