Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, met with representatives of energy companies operating in Georgia.
At the meeting, the Minister spoke in detail about the current state of Georgia’s energy sector, the ongoing reforms, and the decisions the government is implementing to ensure the further development of the field.
The Minister stated that the Ministry of Economy remains open to dialogue with the business community, including the energy sector, and is ready to provide support on all strategic issues.
Mariam Kvrivishvili also briefed the energy business representatives on the government’s initiative regarding the Economic Development Bank highlighting that energy will be a priority direction for the future financial organization.
It was stressed that Ministry will maintain active communication with the business sector in the future.
