On April 26, we celebrate World Pilots’ Day. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia extends its heartfelt congratulations to every Georgian pilot – to all those who serve this demanding and responsible profession, as well as to the veterans who have carried the title of pilot with honor!
The profession of a pilot is a global symbol of prestige, reliability, and courage. You are the individuals to whose professionalism and experience we entrust our most precious assets – human life and safety – on a daily basis. You ensure the safe movement of passengers and cargo worldwide and contribute significantly to the development of the country’s aviation sector and the strengthening of international connections.
In the modern world, the importance of the pilot profession continues to grow. Today, 204 highly qualified pilots serve Georgian aviation, including three women. It is particularly gratifying that this profession is becoming increasingly attractive to the youth, and we are confident that the new generation will continue this path with dignity.
Once again, we congratulate you and offer our sincere gratitude for your dedication and professionalism. We wish you success and clear skies!
