Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Türker Ari.

The Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his activities.

The parties discussed further strengthening economic ties between the two countries, with a particular emphasis on cooperation in the transport and logistics sectors.

Tamar Ioseliani provided the Ambassador with information on the progress of major infrastructure projects, including the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, railway modernization, the East-West Highway, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway projects. The parties also discussed cooperation in terms of developing the Middle Corridor.
