Mariam Kvrivishvili Met with Republic of Türkiye Ambassador, Mustafa Türker Arı

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Türker Arı.

The sides discussed the trade and economic relations between the two countries and deliberated on further deepening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Türkiye.

It was noted that the successful economic cooperation between the two nations is growing year after year, a dynamic reflected positively in statistical indicators and the country holds the first place among Georgia’s trade partners.

The successful cooperation between the countries in both investment and tourism sectors was highlighted.

The Minister of Economy also raised the expansion of cooperation in the transport and energy sectors with the Turkish Ambassador. It was highlighted that this partnership plays a crucial role in strengthening regional connectivity, energy security and broader economic integration.

Mariam Kvrivishvili congratulated Mustafa Türker Arı on the commencement of his diplomatic mission and wished him success in his future activities.

Deputy Minister Tamar Ioseliani and the Head of the Trade Development and International Economic Relations Department, Givi Zedelashvili also attended the meeting.
