Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, along with the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataradze, visited the Batumi State Maritime Academy.

The Minister inspected the seafarers’ training center and its educational infrastructure firsthand, and familiarized herself with the modern training simulators and equipment used in the maritime education process. These technologies enable seafarers to develop their professional skills and train under conditions that closely replicate a real working environment.

Along with Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Tamar Ioseliani, and the Director of the Maritime Transport Agency, Ivane Abashidze, also visited the academy.
