The World Bank’s updated forecast projects Georgia’s economic growth for 2025 to be 7%, which is 1,5% higher than the bank’s June 2025 forecast. Under this forecast, Georgia’s economy will grow by 5,5% in 2026, which is also 0,5% higher than the forecast of this June.
The average economic growth forecast for Georgia for 2025-2027 is almost double the average for other EU candidate countries, standing at 5,8%.
According to the World Bank report, Georgia is to have the highest average economic growth among European countries in the period of 2025-2027.
