Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Mountain Resorts Development Company of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the French Company, Cluster Montagne in Innsbruck, Austria.

The company of Cluster Montagne is an organization founded by the French Government, which unites all major French companies engaged in the field of mountain resorts.

The Memorandum of Understanding will allow the two countries to cooperate in development of mountain resorts, ski industry and the maintenance of 4-season tourism as well.

According to the director of the Mountain Resorts Development Company, Alexander Onoprishvili, in-depth analysis of Western methods of managing the mountain resorts, participation in bilateral projects and seminars, and exchange of the experience in the field of mountains, as envisaged by the Memorandum, will provide more help for Georgia in terms of the ski resorts promotion, thus improving the service and the level of tourism in the country.
