Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan have signed a quadrilateral Declaration on Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor, emphasizing the importance of the Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor and strengthening the transit potential of the member-states to the Declaration.
The Declaration also highlights the significance of strengthening the development of transport corridors and transit potential, deepening cooperation between the parties in terms of integration of the Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor in the international transport system.
The document also stresses the important role of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line in promoting competitive transport between Europe and Asia, and stressed the importance of completing construction work to improve the capacity of the railway line, which strengthens the railway line.
The Declaration also emphasizes the significant need for infrastructure investments to increase the quality of transport operations along the route.
