Within the framework of the 12th Ministerial of the World Trade Organization, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Genadi Arveladze held a bilateral meeting with the Trade Representative of Israel, Ohad Cohen.

The sides discussed Georgia-Israel trade and economic relations and opportunities for the further promotion and development.

They also focused on the prospect of starting negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement. The head of the Georgian delegation, Genadi Arveladze focused on the feasibility study on concluding a Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and Israel, which was conducted in 2020.

The parties agreed on continuing consultations on this issue.
