“I think it was very interesting to exchange information and share opinions with the ambassadors. At the conference, we talked about the prospects for economic development, as well as the progress made, which is very important and interesting. There was a very good panel discussion, where my colleagues spoke about their specific directions, but, in general, the economic team panel was one of the most active, many ambassadors were involved in this discussion,” – Levan Davitashvili said upon completion of the ambassadors’ conference. The event under the title “Georgia’s Foreign Policy Priorities in Modern Geopolitical Reality” was held in Kakheti, in which, along with the heads of Georgian diplomatic missions abroad, members of the Georgian Parliament and Government participated.

According to the First Vice Prime Minister, such a format of the meeting is quite useful for ensuring that cooperation between economic agencies with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is as effective and productive as possible for our country by 2025.

“We have close ties with almost all embassies, their role and involvement are critically important for us to have successful international economic relations. You know that we have liberal trade regimes with many countries, work on the free trade agreements will continue. In this regard, it is worth noting that negotiations with Korea have already been completed. In addition, we talked about the progress we have made within the framework of existing agreements and what still needs to be done. We also touched on specific investment projects that are being implemented from different countries,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development noted.
