Levan Davitashvili and representatives of the International Monetary Fund mission discussed the main directions of economic policy and the progress of reforms at a meeting held at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister Vakhtang Tsintsadze.

In a working format, the parties discussed economic indicators, existing forecasts, and talked about the plans that the Georgian government has in terms of economic growth and the implementation of structural reforms. The meeting also discussed important directions of the energy, transport and communications sectors, including the development of Georgia as a transit hub and the projects that the Georgian government is actively working on in this regard.
