According to data for January-June (I-II quarters) 2025, Georgia recorded a record number of tourist visits, reaching an all-time high of 2,3 million visits. The number of international traveler visits amounted to 3,2 million.
In the same reporting period, compared to 2024, the number of international travelers is increased by 4,4%, the number of international visitors – by 4,6%, and the number of international tourists – by 6,9%.
A record number of international tourist visits was also recorded in the II quarter of 2025, reaching an all-time high number of 1,3 million visits.
According to the data of the II quarter of 2025, compared to the same period of 2024, the number of international travelers was increased by 6,9%, the number of international visitors - by 7%, and the number of international tourists - by 10,7%.
According to the data for January-June of the current year, a record number of visits from EU countries (including Great Britain) was recorded, totaling 201986 visits. The increase, compared to the same period of 2024, is 10,2%. Among them, the number of visits are increased from Greece (28,2%; +3 006 visits); Italy (26,1%; +2271 visits); Spain (25,9%; +1638 visits); United Kingdom (25,8%; +3880 visits); Poland (21,9%; +6043 visits); Germany (4,2%; 1296 visits) and others.
In the same reporting period, a record 47 430 visits were made from the Gulf countries (an increase of 10,5%; +4525 visits), including increased visits from Saudi Arabia (+20,8%); Qatar (+15,9%); and the United Arab Emirates (+12,5%).
Also, a record 32750 visits were made (an increase of 17%; +4752 visits) in the II quarter of 2025, including increased visits from Saudi Arabia (25,4%; +4,139 visits); United Arab Emirates (21,4%; +722 visits); Oman (49,8%; +542 visits); Qatar (14,6%; +58 visits) and Bahrain (+7,8%; +54 visits). Visits from Kuwait were decreased (12,3%; -763 visits).
