Revenue from International Tourism Increased Record-High in Second Quarter of 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, revenues from travel (tourism) was increased by 5,0% per year, reaching a record volume for the second quarter of 1 145,0 million USD.

Revenues from travel (tourism) in January-June of this year was increased by 3,8% per year, also reaching a record volume of almost 2 billion USD (1 971,0 million USD).

In the first and second quarters of 2025, revenues from tourism exceeded the figures for the same period of pre-pandemic year of 2019 by 35,4%.

In the second quarter of 2025, revenues from the tourism were significantly increased from the following countries: European Union (increase by 26% or 35,9 million USD, reaching 173,9 million USD); Israel (increase by 16,4% or 18 million USD, reaching 127,7 million USD); Azerbaijan (increase by 42,3% or 16 million USD, reaching 54 million USD); Saudi Arabia (increase by 20,9% or 5,2 million USD, reaching 30,1 million USD); and Armenia (increase by 15,1% or 5 million USD, reaching 37,8 million USD).

Cumulatively, over two quarters, a significant increase in tourism revenue was recorded from: Israel (increase by 37,9% or 66,4 million USD, reaching 241,9 million USD), the European Union and Great Britain (increase by 12,5% or 30,7 million USD, reaching 277,0 million USD), Azerbaijan (increase by 30,7% or 24,1 million USD, reaching 102,6 million USD), Saudi Arabia (increase by 18,9% or 6,2 million USD, reaching 38,8 million USD), and Armenia (increase by 2,8% or 1,8 million USD, reaching 66,0 million USD).
