Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of France, Olivier Courteaud, and discussed issues of economic partnership between the two countries.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success in his professional activities.

The introductory meeting gave special attention to the importance of deepening the existing bilateral economic relations and further strengthening fruitful cooperation in this regard.

An emphasis was placed on bringing the business circles of the two countries closer and promoting investments. It was noted that French companies have a high level of interest in entering the Georgian market, particularly in the sectors of transport infrastructure, tourism, civil aviation, and others.

In conclusion, a readiness to intensify activities to deepen cooperation between Georgia and France was expressed.
