Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, congratulated the employees of the civil aviation sector on the International Civil Aviation Day.
“Civil aviation is a crucial contributor to the strengthening of Georgia’s tourism and economy. Upon the government’s correct and effective policy, joint work, and the high professionalism of those employed in the sector, we have achieved an unprecedented growth dynamic in the field of civil aviation, which is steadily improving year after year. Proactive work results into the new airlines and destinations added to the Georgian aviation market annually. Furthermore, taking into account the current dynamics of passenger traffic, tourist flows and the growth of the aviation freight turnover, as well as the forecast data, work is underway towards the systematic development of the country’s aviation infrastructure. Behind these impressive results lies the immeasurably great work and effort of the professionals employed in the civil aviation sector. I thank every specialist, state agency, and aviation enterprise employed in the sector. I believe that through shared efforts, we will achieve even greater success in the future” – the congratulatory text from the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development states.
