In the third quarter of 2025, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees increased by 10,4% (214,9 GEL) compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 2271,6 GEL. The real wage growth during the same period equaled 5,6%.

Salary growth was recorded in the business sector as well as in the non-entrepreneurial and financial sectors. In the third quarter of 2025, the salary of those employed in the business sector was increased by 10,5% (230,8 GEL) compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 2420,9 GEL, while the salary of those employed in the non-entrepreneurial and financial sectors was increased by 10,3% (187,4 GEL) and amounted to 2000,9 GEL.

In the third quarter of 2025, the real average monthly salary of hired employees was increased by 5,6% compared to the previous year’s figure.

During the same period, salary growth was recorded in almost all sectors, including mining and quarrying, construction, financial and insurance activities, transportation and storage, information and communication, accommodation and food service activities, etc.
