Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, has started her official visit to Turkmenistan.

At the Ashgabat International Airport, the Georgian delegation was welcomed by Kerimberdi Kurbanov, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the visit, Mariam Kvrivishvili is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan. Furthermore, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia will co-chair the 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan.
