Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Irakli Nadareishvili, and the Head of the National Administration of Tourism, Maia Omiadze, held bilateral meetings within the framework of ITB China 2026.

Georgian delegation met with Sumer Wong, the Regional Marketing Director of Trip.com, as well as David Ruetz, the Senior Vice President of Messe Berlin.

Within the framework of the meetings, the parties discussed future cooperation plans aimed at promoting Georgia’s tourism potential and increasing the country’s visibility in international markets. Attention was focused on strengthening the positioning of Georgia as a tourist destination in the Chinese and Asian markets, as well as on cooperation in international tourism exhibitions and marketing campaigns.

The meetings were held within the framework of the international tourism exhibition ITB China, where Georgia is represented with the status of a partner country.
