In the first quarter of 2026, Foreign Direct Investments in Georgia were increased by 47,7%, amounting to 271,2 million USD.

By country, in the first quarter of 2026, the United Kingdom registered the largest volume of investments in Georgia, followed by the USA, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, etc.

The United Kingdom also leads the list of countries that showed significant growth in investment inflows. A sharp increase in investments was also recorded from Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands.

In the first quarter, foreign direct investments was increased significantly in such sectors as financial and insurance activities, trade, real estate, as well as administrative and support service activities.

In the first quarter of 2026, the largest share of investments was directed into the financial and insurance sector, followed by real estate, information and communication, energy, and trade sectors.
