In Ambrolauri, over 25 people have been employed in a new fresh-water company established upon the financial and infrastructural support of the state program Enterprise Georgia. Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Gakharia, the Governor of the Region Archil Japaridze and the Head of the Enterprise Georgia Agency Mariana Morgoshia attended the opening ceremony of the Itsi Tskali Ltd.
The Itsi Tskali Ltd is located at # 18 Gurgenidze Street, Ambrolauri. The company took 800 000 GEL loan for the establishment of the enterprise. The loan’s interest payable is co-financed by the Enterprise Georgia Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The LEPL National Agency of State Property of the Ministry of Economy provided the company with a plot of land necessary for the construction of the enterprise for the symbolic price of 1 GEL. The total investment of the project amounted to 2 000 000 GEL.
“Such enterprises established in the regions provide not only the new work-places, but also stimulate the growth of the export. This new company is focused on exporting its production into the Arabic countries and there is no doubt we will facilitate them in this as well. We find that the main goal of the Enterprise Georgia is to support the development of such middle-size enterprises and especially in the regions through the financial as well as the infrastructural and production facilitation,” – Giorgi Gakharia stated during his visit to the new enterprise.
The Itsis Tskali Ltd uses the water supply of the Kvabtkari water deposit in the production. For the production purposes, the company provided the appropriate infrastructure and equipment in compliance with the sanitary-hygienic standards.
“In addition to already employed 25-people staff, the company is planning to employ another 20 people in the future, which is very important for the Racha Region. The interest in the Enterprise Georgia program is increasing and therefore, we try to make the program even more flexible and better tailored to the needs of the entrepreneurs,” – Mariana Morgoshia, the Head of the Enterprise Georgia noted.
The Governor of the Region, Archil Japaridze noted that the trend of returning families back to Racha is obvious, which is the result of the Government’s initiative of establishing the preferential conditions for those who decide to develop the business in Racha. According to the Governor, launching of the Itsi Tskali Ltd encouraged four families to move back to Ambrolauri from Tbilisi, which is a very exciting fact.
The Itsi Tskali Ltd produces water bottled in the glass as well as the plastic bottles. Its production will be available in a various retail and network supermarkets in Georgia as well as abroad.
