The signing of the document took place after the bilateral meeting of the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman.

Levan Davitashvili noted that the Agreement will contribute to the deepening of economic cooperation between the countries. “Within the framework of the joint commission, we will be able to formally determine the priorities that the two countries have in terms of economic cooperation. I believe this will deepen the relations between us and Croatia, contribute to increasing trade turnover and cooperation in various economic directions,” – Levan Davitashvili commented.

Vice Prime Minister also drew attention to the sharing of experience from the Croatian side. According to the Davitashvili’s assessment, Croatia’s experience as a full member of the European Union will be useful for Georgia on its way to European integration.
