Post Stamps Dedicated to Establishment of 100 Years of Georgia’s First Democratic Republic Available at Market

Following the Order of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, three small-size sheets of stamps dedicated to the 100 years of establishment of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia entered the market on May 31, 2018.

New postage stamps are available for wide public at the service centers of the Georgian Post.

As a result of the open competition announced by the Georgian Post, the commission on stamps selected the design of the postage stamps introduced by Baadur Koblianidze on the following topic – 100th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Georgia. Baadur Koblianidze presented three stamps reflecting National State Emblem, National Flag and National Map of the Democratic Republic of Georgia. The postage stamps were created using the unique documents and photo materials of the First Republic protected in the National Archives of Georgia.
